Coworking Utopicus, Avenida Diagonal, Barcelona

bod design studio hat gerade für Utopicus, ein auf flexible Arbeitsplätze spezialisiertes Unternehmen, den sechsten Coworking Space dieser Firma in Barcelona eröffnet.

Das Leitthema dieser neuen Büroräume ist die noble Avenida Diagonal, mit ihren herrlichen Jugendstilhäusern, Palästen und grünen, ausweitenden Parkanlagen. Die Rezeption gleicht dem Wohnraum eines Palastes, die Besprechungsräume sind nach den schönsten Plätzen der Stadt benannt und die Terrasse gleicht einem Rosengarten.

Mitten an der berühmten Flaniermeile der Stadt, der Avenida Diagonal, gelegen, entstanden auf 1500m2 nachhaltige und technologisch hochaktuelle Büroräume für 117 flexible Arbeitsplätze, hinzu kommt eine eigene, begrünten Terrasse von 400m2.

Der Ausbau wurde an die technologischen Anforderungen der künftigen Mieter angepasst und vollkommen unter dem Konzept der Nachhaltigkeit entworfen: Alle Baustoffe, Materialen und Möbel unterlagen einer strengen Kontrolle bzgl. Nachhaltigkeit ; hinzu kommt ein Beleuchtungssystem, das sich mittels Sensoren automatisch reguliert und je nach Nutzung des Raums angepasst wird; Einsatz eines BMS-System zur Messung und Beratung des Verbrauchs in Echtzeit ermöglicht Energieeinsparung und schnellste Lufterneuerung.

Das Coworking ist bereits für den Monat März komplett ausgebucht. Einhaltung der Kosten- und Zeitplanung waren auch bei diesem Projekt wieder selbstverständlich für bod.

Coworking Sea Side

bod designed the brand new Coworking Sea Side, in Barceloneta, one of Barcelona’s coolest locations, where coworkers will enjoy the sea’s views in an old fisherman’s neighborhood. 

The Coworking is in the iconic Torre Mare Nostrum, planned by renowned architects Enric Miralles and Benedetta Tagliabue in 2005. It generates a volume of vertical growth, fractionated into different bodies with different scales, opening-up like a door to the Barceloneta neighborhood.

This ambitious project of refurbishing the original office space into a trendy 3800m2 Coworking, on six different levels, was realized entirely during the lockdown. To conform to the new Covid-19 reality, we included brand new solutions and reconfigured common and event areas to limit contamination risks. The result is a cutting edge and Covid-safe project, where staff and coworkers feel safer and can enjoy a relaxed atmosphere.

bod designed the space with smooth forms and colors to give a new, fresh, and breezy identity. On the Ground Floor, there’s the Club: a multi-use space for VIP members. On the first floor are reception, canteen, collaboration area, desks for fix and flex coworkers. The following three levels will be rented as full-floor offices, with separate private access. On the 5th floor are the best views, where you can see the seaside while working.

The client, the staff, and the first Coworkers are pleased with the result.

It is the 4th Coworking we designed and managed its construction for TSST, and again, even in lockdown, we met the client’s expectations of time and budget.
